Depth of Space

Depth of Space is a sort of digital play. I bring images in for translation, molding them with the the merging of generated depth maps and displacement waves. The original image is molded through horizontal 1.5 pixel weighted lines at 30 pixels apart. Feeling out the perceived depth of the space on display pushed and pulled from +4 to -4. Depth maps are generated images that represent the distance of objects from a certain specific point. The point I these images is the camera, the viewer. Which results with a spatial depth within the image, the depth within the images from the view of the camera.

The camera expresses three dimensional space into two dimensional representation. What happens when we ask programs to translate a two dimensional space dimensionally, while keeping a two dimensional form? This series seeks to explore the visual expression of depth of space.
